  Remote was losing contact with the trolling motor. Problem was cover wasn't holding battery securely. This fixed the problem.

  Perfect Replacement

  I purchased this battery cover due to wear and tear on my original I-Pilot battery cover. The wear came from the remote constantly going dead due to an open in the electrical circuit. I believe the foam that Minn Kota places inside the cover loses its tension over time and this cover now has me back to fishing and having a trolling motor that will work until I decide to quit for the day rather than when the remote decides to quit for the day. Fast service from Fish307.com and I'm back on the water!

  This product came with battery cover. So you do not have to order an extra one. But they are good to have if you have luck like mine c

  Fixed my I Pilot Remote

  I over-tightened the battery cover and stripped the threads on the back panel of my I Pilot remote. The battery compartment would no longer hold a battery and my remote was inoperable. To fix my remote, I ordered three replacement parts. 1) I-PILOT REMOTE COVER, BATTERY COMPARTMENT ASY - 2886422 2) CASE, BOTTOM i-PILOT 1.5 - 2372556 and 3) GASKET,BATTERY COMPARTMENT - 2376941. For less than $20 and less than 10 minutes of work, I fixed my remote. Now, it works perfectly.
