Under certain circumstances variable speed motors with Maximizer® (PWM) speed control systems may interfere with the operation of a depth finder. Installation of this kit, consisting of a fused ground wire and a motor lower unit ground wire, is recommended if depth finder interference occurs when the trolling motor is being operated.

good product, one wire way to short for walleye boats.
has two ground wires with fuse. the one for the trolling motor is perfect but the fused wire that runs from neg. post on starting battery is supposed t hook up to the neg post on trolling batteries. It is only long enough if all batteries are in one spot such as a Ranger. If you own a Lund, trolling batteries are located in middle center of floor and start battery at the back. NOT LONG ENOUGH. Should be 7'-8' long with fuse
