It is still new and I have used the motor only once. It worked great. Extremely easy to install. After contacting the tech man, I felt better about the original problem. I would highly recommend this company based on my interaction with their technician.

I had trouble with switch. However, the tech gentleman I talked to was very good, polite and extremely helpful. I have not used the motor since that conversation. I am very hopeful that the motor will work like new. This review is for the customer service. I will wait to see what happens when I use the motor later in the week.

easy fix
To test, remove ALL the wires from current switch and test black and red to a battery. Leaving white and yellow on old switch prevents circuit. Daughter and I swapped it out in about 10 min. Only trick is being careful to get neutral "gear" exactly centered when reassembling the motor handle (took us two tries). Motor works like new. Thanks for great speedy service.

What I needed
Minn Kota makes an excellent motor but like most others in the field the electrical parts are the first to go. This is exactly what I needed to replace the worn out switch. Motor runs like new. The excellent service by Fish307.com was very much appreciated.
