Minn Kota Motor control box
Box went on as advertised. Was very easy and no alterations or left over parts. Thanx to the guys at Fish307 for giving me a heads up on the install. Real happy.

No problems with the cover. I had to make a few adjustments with inside wires to work with newer model cover, other than that works perfectly.

Correct Fit
Minn-Kota made a terrible plastic base for the 55 thrust capable motor. Why they made the plastic so terrible is a question to be answered by their quality team. With that being said, this replacement piece fits exactly as it should. It also seems to be a bit thicker plastic for this base piece. Considering that literally almost all the thrust and turning is centralized around this piece, I’m glad it’s got a bit better ridgid value than the broken in half piece from Minn-Kota.
