Detailed Description

The Shimano Tekota is the perfect cross-over reel for both freshwater and saltwater species. The Tekota line is engineered for the long run with a die-cast frame, sturdy power handle with Septon grip, oversized clicker and cross-bar forward design for easy access to the spool. These reels are great for downriggers, divers, planer boards and lead core line. The linecounter on these reels was designed for ease of use. The left side plate design makes the reel extremely palmable and puts the counter between your thumb and forefinger for balance and control. The reset button is located for easy access, but is protected against accidental resets.
