This rod is ideal for perch duty or makes an excellent finesse rod for walleye. This extremely versatile rod excels with presentations that range from hanger and dropper rigs, finesse spoons or horizontal riding ice jigs like Lindy Fat Boys and Genz Worms. Many of the anglers who have field-tested and designed these rods feel that 3 or 4-lb. Test line was optimum line diameter for the best sensitivity.
