The IceGator
The IceGator is the first 24 volt ice auger drive developed and manufactured in the United States. Adapt your 8 inch or smaller hand auger or gas auger bit to the IceGator and it becomes the fastest cutting unit in the world, cutting through ice at an amazing 5 inches per second. The IceGator also power cleans the ice fishing hole by going in reverse. The IceGator has the ability to cut an average of 90 holes through 15 inches of ice on a single battery charge. Charging is simple. Just plug the 24 volt charger into any 110 outlet and install the charger into the charging port on the bottom. Charging time is approximately 2 hours. Assembly is simple. For hand augers just remove the handle that is on your hand auger, install the adapter shaft into the auger bit and put the bolt back in. Then install the drive unit on the auger like you would with any other ice auger. With a gas auger bit no adaptor shaft is needed. This ice season spend less time drilling holes and more time catching fish.
