Douglas B. Houghton started hand making these miniature wooden boat transoms
for each boat that he would restore as a thank-you to the owner for allowing him
to restore the wooden boat. Douglas made a transom sign as a gift for a friend,
he loved that one so much he commissioned Douglas to do a few more that were
also received with great delight as a great Adirondack nautical
decoration. Douglas designs and hand makes these signs so that they can be used
as an boat house sign, house sign or for interior decoration.
They are offered in a variety of shapes and sizes which are pictured
below. The sizes are offered as a small being 1:4 scale, which is one-quarter of
the actual size of the 'real' boat transom while large is 1:2 scale is one-half
size of the actual size.

Lettering: You pick a font style, if you have a picture it can be replicated.
If you have a boat not pictured here, no problem, he would just need a little
info from you to custom built a transom to your specs.
Each sign is hand-crafted and takes approximately two weeks to create. Please
